1. No more anime Reviews (Sakura is against grading or reviewing, and I thought it would give us a fresher spin on the whole podcasting gig)

Acces Hollywod got the chance to talk with a Fox Studios worker in Century City, who revealed that one of the major movie studios is looking to quickly sign Joss Whedon as the director of the Sailor Moon live action movie, now that he is free from the Wonder Woman big screen adaptation. Also, a list of unconfirmed actresses attached to the movie that the studio has already contacted for main roles.
About a year ago, rumors said that Joss Whedon (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) was attached to direct the live action version of the popular anime “Sailor Moon” after doing Wonder Woman.
Now that Whedon is off the WW project it’s likely that he will take on the Sailor Moon movie right away, or at least that’s what Fox wants
When the Sailor Moon movie was reported last year, Lindsay Lohan and Jennifer Garner were both set to play starring roles, but both now dropped out. This time new casting announcements include; Maggie Grace, Julie Gonzalo, Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel, Danielle Panabaker, A.J. Cook, Rachel Blanchard, Mischa Barton, Deanna Casaluce, Amanda Righetti, Elisa Donovan and Emma Caulfield.
The plot will be a complete new story based on Naoko Takeuchi’s (Sailor Moon creator) unreleased material.Whedon is also developing a horror movie called “Goner"
Here is an unconfirmed list of actresses and the characters they are supposed to play:

Alexis Bledel ————— Sailor Mercury
Julie Gonzalo ————– Sailor Venus

I am calling bullshit on this one. Danielle Panabaker would be the youngest in the cast and Neptune is supposed to be OLDER than Moon anyway. That and Naoko-san would have NO PART in this.

Koda Kumi is now officially #1!!!

Self proclaimed modern sex Goddess and jpop-queen Koda Kumi who within the last few months released her phenomenal Black Cherry album is now officially the #1 Japanese pop idol. Last week, she received a trophy from Oricon (Japan's Billboard) for her ero-kakkoii (Japanese for erotic cool) power.

Sweet for me (Kai) Because I do love the kuchan! I am looking forward to a fansub of Cherry Girl surfacing eventually. While the old queen Ayumi may be taking a second place its no bad thing since she and third place slot winner Utada are both amazing artists.

In BakaFM development we are finalizing the details for our new Episode layout. Which includes

Episodes recorded earlier so we are awake
more jokes

nothing really ground shaking but we think it will make for a more enjoyable listening experience. Also I am working on a few other podcast projects online!

BakaFM is once again receiving a Redesign. This will be the permanent change and it will have a more mature look and I have designed a Logo for it too ^_^ I am in the Design phase and hope to have BakaFM: V5.0 Spirit up and ready by episode 2 which at the latest will start recording September 19th. I have taken steps to ensure that the podcast will become monthly thing and hope to start releasing occasional 5 minute casts called SPECIAL REPORTS. All this is in the works!

On another note is that We are seeking a new Female Co-Host to take Brii's place. I am sorry Brii but its business and you are Awol. You are welcome back anytime but I need to move forward. Don t bother Emailing us unless you saw the ad at the Voice Acting Alliance. Episode 2 is looking good and I will be more than relieved to present episode 2 (Which will be really episode 1 after you think about it)

as for the redesign I am taking it in a more mature direction as I have taken this project past something I want to do for fun and be silly. BakaFM is going to become a premiere source for Anime/Video game/Japanese pop culture news and reviews. But will will still have a light hearted undertone!

Power Puff Girls Z episode 1

I suppose I am going to take it upon myself to give PPGZ a good rep. People are bashing it beacuse of how it isnt 100% faithful lto the original. would you want kindergardeners in miniskirts? Or japanese anime!? no!

Episode 1 bacily gives us a introduction not to the characters but the premis that obviouly is goin to found the entire series. Professor Utonium is playing with chemical X with his son Ken an accidently turns chemical X into a new substance, Chemical Z. Thsi Chemical finds three seperate girls, not related,and they basicly becoem the powerpuff girls Z.

While obviously targeted at little kids this show still has Maho Shoujo goodness that I love. and if your a fan of the series its a MUST SEE. highly recomended!

Final Fantasy XII finaly has a Release date!!!!

Square-enix have announced a official release date for the north American release of the highly anticipated and Genre Breaking RPG title, Final Fantasy XII! The game that has been delayed since 2004 now is being released on US borders. Lets hope this one lasts longer than X, or X-2 people! LOOK FORWARD TO IT. October-31-2006

Final Fantasy XIII Fabula Nova Crystallis Project announced
At this years E-3 the Final Fantasy XIII Fabula Nova Crystallis project was announced. So far 3 games have been announced officially by Square Enix .The titles in Fabula Nova Crystallis that have been announced so far are: Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy Versus 13 and Final Fantasy Agito 13A further three titles have been announced for the series, although no information has been revealed on them at this time. However, one title is rumored to be named Final Fantasy Haeresis 13, this name was registered by Square Enix with USPTO at the start of May 2006. This makes 6 titles in the Fabula Nova Crystallis project. On another note. The Battle System or for lack of a better term STYLE will reflect the battles shown in Final Fantasy VII: advent children. These type of battles until now where only executable through cutscenes. It will be interesting to see how this PlayStation 3 title pans out. No Release Dates have been discussed as of late. But I am fairly sure Sony will be backing at least one title for a PS3 launch title.

Final Fantasy XII soundtrack released
Final Fantasy XII Soundtrack was released this month. A nice taste of the soundtrack has left a GREAT taste in our mouths!!!!! With a music style closely mirroring that of Tactics Advance (as is fitting considering the game takes place in a pseudo-Ivalalice. Composers Hitoshi Sakimoto, and good old Nobuo Uematsu leave us happy. with the Chocobo theme, and Fanfare themes in tact. also Themes from previous games make appearances in what is rumored (as I heard it) to be Nobuo's final performance. The lack of the traditional Battle theme that was lost after FFIX and I still pine to hear in the newer games was lacking but I was more than satisified with the package! A must have.

TerraNovaStudios Projects for 2006
My production studio TerraNovaStudios has many projects scheduled for 2006-2007 which are mostly outside the AMV realm. With OAV's for Demon Chess Online and SIREN. AMVs for FFXII, Tsubasa, and xxxHOLiC. our largest project however is the TerraNovaStudios NETWORK. Okay everyone. In a attempt to make ourselves more professional looking our layout has been revamped. We will now spell checking everything in our posts! so no more crap! The first thing you will notice (if you are a listener from the past.) is the CSS layout remains the same but the Gradient is more balanced, and the Banner is cooler looking! maybe. We will be applying for iTunes. we will be creating a FeedBurner RSS feed that will applied to the site main layout as a link of some sort.

Changes to the Podcast Formula for Episode 2.
Firstly we will Be eliminating BGMs. To make our voices more prominent in the Cast. My voice faded in and out enough in episode 1 and if that happens again it will go like last time and the BGM will just water me out. next cutting down the music in the beginning and end. people complaining about the length of each song will be happy to know their length is cut. But the middle will still Be a full length song as it is a feature in the podcast. WE will also balance our subject matter in a more appropriate form. That is to say we will still lb e VERY inappropriate but we will however balance things out. like the last episode was 60% yaoi. next time It will be less...hopefully ^_^
